Magnetic Access is a German access-control manufacturer and part of the FAAC Technologies group. It builds the hardware that controls where vehicles and people move through a site: vehicle barriers, FlowMotion pedestrian gates, AFC fare gates, full-height turnstiles, toll booms, and matching terminals. At the core of every barrier is the MHTM MicroDrive, a maintenance-free unit rated for up to 10 million opening and closing cycles. Magnetic systems run at airports, metro networks, and toll roads worldwide.
Why Magnetic Access Control?

Every Magnetic barrier runs on the MHTM MicroDrive. It is maintenance-free, energy-efficient, and quiet, and it delivers high torque even in extreme weather, giving a rated service life of up to 10 million opening and closing cycles.
Magnetic builds for throughput. Toll booms and MPR fare gates open in about 0.3 seconds, in both directions, which clears highway toll plazas and rush-hour metro crowds without forming queues.
Every Magnetic barrier carries a Declaration of Conformity to the Machinery Directive and a Declaration of Performance to the Construction Products Directive. Security options include induction-loop tailgate detection and climb-over prevention up to a 6.0 m barrier span.

Magnetic's range covers four main system families. Every Magnetic barrier runs on the maintenance-free MHTM MicroDrive and carries a Declaration of Conformity to the Machinery Directive and a Declaration of Performance to the Construction Products Directive.
Boom barriers for site access, car parks, and perimeters, from the compact to wide-span. Parking Pro handles heavily used car parks with induction-loop detection of tailgating vehicles.
High-speed toll booms for tolled highways and lane control, built for continuous, high-throughput duty. After a boom strike the barrier re-engages automatically or by hand so the lane keeps running.
Ticketing and access terminals that pair with the barriers, plus modular controls that interface with common ticketing and access-control systems. The Terminal-MXL front panel unlocks with a single key and pulls out on telescopic rails for quick ticket servicing.
FlowMotion pedestrian gates for high-volume, user-friendly access, plus MPR fare gates for automatic ticket inspection and MPT full-height turnstiles for perimeter security.
