Chain actuators sit inside the window frame and push the sash open: the everyday tool of natural ventilation and the life-safety muscle of smoke and heat extraction systems. DNH supplies two Italian specialists: UCS, whose chain actuators serve both daily ventilation and certified RWA fire-safety duty, and Topp, window and door automation specialists since 1996, with actuators for windows, domes and skylights certified to EN 12101-2 for smoke evacuation.

UCS Chain / Window Actuator

UCS electric chain actuators open windows, skylights and louvres for controlled natural ventilation, and double as smoke and heat extraction (RWA) actuators within certified fire-safety systems with dedicated control panels.

The range runs from the slim NANO to the dual-chain TWIN QUASAR, with chain forces up to 600 N and locking strength up to 5,000 N.

Topp electric chain actuators automate swinging, top-hung and bottom-hung windows for natural ventilation.

Eleven models run from the compact C20 to dual-chain and swing variants, with 24 V DC and 230 V AC versions, strokes up to 1,000 mm and IP ratings up to IP66.

For smoke and heat extraction systems, Topp supplies chain actuators certified to EN 12101-2, opening vents in 60 seconds or less in an emergency.

Why these brands

DNH supplies two complementary Italian ranges. UCS chain actuators are built for dual duty: everyday natural ventilation and smoke and heat extraction within certified fire-safety systems, with dedicated control panels and actuators tested in fire conditions. Topp has specialised in window and door automation since 1996, with chain, rack and linear actuators for windows, domes and skylights, and RWA models certified to EN 12101-2.

Choose UCS where ventilation and fire safety share one system. Choose Topp where window geometry leads: eleven chain models cover swinging, top-hung and bottom-hung sashes, plus dual-chain and swing variants. DNH supports specification and supply either way.
