Magnetic Access: Access & Parking Barriers
Energy-efficient vehicle barriers designed for controlling access to parking spaces, residential estates, and commercial premises.
Width, opening speed, functionality, and accessories can all be tailored to suit your site. Built on robust, low-maintenance MHTM™ drive technology, these barriers combine smooth, quiet operation with an extraordinary service life of up to 10,000,000 opening and closing cycles - keeping traffic moving while maintaining tight access control.
Magnetic Access: Toll Barriers
Rapid, reliable, and economical barriers purpose-built for collecting toll fees at bridges, tunnels, and busy roads. Available in five models with opening times from 1.3 seconds down to just 0.3 seconds, they're engineered to handle high volumes of vehicles with minimal delay.
Powered by the innovative MHTM™ drive - prized for its speed, energy efficiency, and low maintenance - each barrier includes a swing-away flange as standard, protecting the arm, vehicle, and drive unit in the event of a collision.
Magnetic Access: Terminals
Access control columns available in five sizes - to suit vehicles from cars through to delivery vans, trucks, and articulated trucks. All models feature a powder-coated aluminium housing, stainless steel base, and IP54-rated enclosure, with a slide-out front cover on telescopic rails for quick, easy access during commissioning and servicing.
The front panel provides a universal platform for intercom systems, video monitoring, card readers, ticket systems, or biometric identification, with weights ranging from 15 kg to 92 kg depending on the model and reach required.
Magnetic Access: Pedestrian Gates
Pedestrian barriers can be adapted to your application thanks to numerous designs, equipping possibilities, and security levels.
All models share a robust construction, innovative and economical MHTM™ drive technology, and an extraordinary service life of up to 10,000,000 opening and closing cycles. At the top of the range is FlowMotion® Access Control - Magnetic's award-winning generation of pedestrian gates that turns access control into a design statement.
Built with mDure, a durable yet comfortable-feel material, and a simplified control concept with integrated lighting, the FlowMotion® series includes six models such as the mTripod turnstile, mSwing door, and mWing passageway - combining sleek architecture-friendly aesthetics with high-performance, low-maintenance security.
Magnetic Access: Perimeter Protection
Full-height turnstiles and swing doors for controlling and securing single or multiple passageways, from staff entrances to high-security perimeters.
The MPT turnstile is available as a single-passage model (approx. 20 persons/min) or a space-saving double-passage version (approx. 30 persons/min), with a choice of mechanical, electro-mechanical, or motorised drive variants and a 3×120° or 4×90° wing configuration.
For wider, wheelchair- and cyclist-friendly access, the MPG swing door offers a single 90° door in two sizes (162/172), powered by MHTM™ drive technology.
All models are built for continuous, 100% duty-cycle operation and up to 10 million design cycles, with an IP43 rating (IP54 optional) and an operating range of -30 to +55°C.
Why this brand
Magnetic has engineered access systems since 1946 and is part of the FAAC Technologies group. Its MHTM™ direct drive sets the benchmark for reliability: 100% duty cycle, power consumption as low as 17 W, and a design life of up to 10 million opening and closing cycles.
