Precise motion control starts with knowing exactly where the motor is. DNH supplies maxon's full sensor range: magnetic, optical, and inductive encoders, DC tachometers, and resolvers, factory-mounted to the selected motor. Incremental and absolute variants deliver from 1 up to 65,536 counts per turn.
For Parvalux geared motors, matching feedback and control accessories are available as bespoke additions: incremental and absolute encoders for AC and DC motors, plus power-on and power-off brakes with braking torque up to 4 Nm, each built to suit the motor and application.
Key advantages
Magnetic encoders resist dirt, optical encoders deliver top resolution, inductive encoders resist both dirt and interference.
From simple speed feedback to battery-free multi-turn absolute position sensing.
Every sensor is mounted on the selected motor at the supplying factory, matched to motor type and shaft.
Parvalux motors take bespoke incremental or absolute encoders and motor brakes up to 4 Nm.

maxon: Sensors & Encoders
maxon develops and manufactures magnetic, optical, and inductive encoders as well as DC tachometers and resolvers to provide optimal solutions for a variety of applications and different industries. maxon encoders, DC tachometers, and resolvers offer precision and a high signal resolution. Sensors can only be acquired as a component of a combination. For resonance reasons, the sensors are mainly mounted on motors with a continuous shaft. The mounting procedure matches the selected motor type and is performed at the supplying factory.
We have structured our series in accordance with key parameters to help you find the appropriate sensor faster.
