Phoenix Mecano is a global technology group listed in Switzerland. Its RK Rose+Krieger division is the linear-motion specialist. Founded in 1972 in Minden, Germany, and part of the Phoenix Mecano group since 1987, RK Rose+Krieger designs and manufactures electric linear actuators and lifting columns that move, position, and adjust loads. The range runs from low-cost actuators for small adjustment tasks through to heavy-duty electric cylinders and synchronised multi-column lifting systems.

Why Phoenix Mecano?

Precise, repeatable movement

RK Rose+Krieger actuators and lifting columns position loads accurately and repeatably, cycle after cycle. Decades of linear-motion engineering go into stable travel, controlled speed, and long service life.

One range, light duty to heavy duty

The range spans small adjustment actuators through to heavy-duty electric cylinders with push forces to 4,000 N and thrust to 9,100 N. Stroke, force, drive voltage, and mounting are matched to the application rather than forced to a fixed part.

Synchronised, controllable lifting

RK lifting columns run singly or in synchronised groups under mono and synchronous control units, so multi-column platforms rise and fall level and stable. Position and speed are controllable across the group.

Safety and German engineering built in

Mechanical Safelock safety, overload protection, and position control are available across the lifting-column range. Products are backed by RK Rose+Krieger's CAD component library and the manufacturing depth of the global Phoenix Mecano group.

Phoenix Mecano products available through DNH

DNH supplies two Phoenix Mecano RK Rose+Krieger product families into South Africa: electric linear actuators and lifting columns. Both are configured to your stroke, force, and drive requirements, with control units and safety options selected to match the duty.

Electric linear actuators (electric cylinders)

Rod-style electric actuators for push and pull tasks: adjusting, tilting, lifting, and positioning in machinery and equipment. The range runs from compact low-force actuators to heavy-duty electric cylinders.

Range:RK MonoLine and RK DuoLine electric cylinder families
Push / pull force:up to 4,000 N push, up to 9,100 N thrust depending on model
Drive:24V DC and 230V AC options, with control units

Lifting columns

Telescopic lifting columns for stable height adjustment of workstations, machinery, and medical, laboratory, and care equipment. Two-stage and multi-stage versions cover short and long travels, single or synchronised.

Range:RK Multilift II, RK Powerlift telescope, two-stage and multi-stage columns
Travel:two-stage up to 500 mm; multi-stage over 500 mm
Load class:3,000 N class per column
